Number three is IIT Madras. It is becoming more popular now. In 2024, only 2 students from the top 100 picked it. But this year, 6 students chose IIT Madras. That’s a big improvement.
Why is IIT Madras getting popular?
- Very good for research and innovation.
- Famous startup support center (called IITM Incubation Cell).
- Peaceful and green campus, less rush compared to Mumbai or Delhi.
If you like a calm campus with strong academics, this is a good choice.
Other IITs
Other IITs like Kanpur, Kharagpur, and Roorkee are also good. Many students from the top 500 or top 1000 ranks choose them. They also have great placements and good faculty.
